Health & Wellbeing Groups
Our PCN Wellbeing team are setting up health & wellbeing groups for our patients!
These groups include:
- Weight Management: a 3-week course for individuals trying to lose weight going over lifestyle changes & resources to help with weight loss. This is being held in Birkenhead Library every Monday (first course: 28/07 – 11/08)
- Self-Management: 4-week course for individuals living with long-term health conditions, or low-level mental health problems who are looking to improve their wellbeing and take back control of their daily lives. We go over coping strategies, stress management, lifestyle changes and useful resources. This is also being held in Birkenhead Library on Wednesday’s (next course is planned to go ahead for 16/07-13/08 with a one-week gap in between)
- They are also planning on starting a Women’s Health group in a few months to support women with areas such as menopause via a coffee/ drop-in sessions (location TBC)
